We believe a people-based approach to data is essential in niche markets. Unlike many providers who solely rely on public (and sector agnostic) data, we directly interview the companies we track and where data aren't available, use our sector experts' expertise to generate sensible estimates.
We collect and analyse data in context
Our database was developed to be specific to the chemicals and pharma-services sectors. We have built categorisation systems that allow efficient and effective filtering - a key bottleneck to many acquisition or partnership search projects.
Our data collection process consists of five steps:
1. Data is collected and analysed by teams with scientific and pharmaceutical backgrounds
2. Sector experts and ex-industry leaders interpret the data
3. First-hand interviews with company executives and owners are conducted
4. Information is analysed, insights are gleaned, and re-entered into database
5. Process is continually done to ensure the database is updated for market developments
