Chemicals and Life Sciences
M&A Director

Q2 2020

The newsletter for M&A and corporate development directors
of mid-market chemicals and life sciences businesses

Dear Reader,

Welcome to the Q2 2020 version of our quarterly 'Chemicals and Life Sciences M&A Director' newsletter!

Firstly, thank you to all those that responded regarding the previous Q1 edition - it is good to hear the information we are assembling below is of use. Please continue to feedback with your comments and suggestions, or article submissions. We want to make this interactive and as useful as possible.

Secondly, we've noticed a wave of notifications informing us that several postponed exhibitions and conferences have now been further pushed back into next year. So we know we're not alone as we say we've decided to do the same with our sister-event, the 'Better Inorganic Growth' conference. This is now being planned for 2021 - please watch this space!

Lastly, although still largely stuck in our home offices, we've noticed a decided up-tick in enquiries regarding strategic buy/sell options. We sense a wave of momentum coming out of this unique period - and we are expecting to be working on several strategic "re-pivots" in the coming months as businesses adapt to the shifting marketplace. If you'd like to discuss anything similar with one of our team, please let us know.

Wishing you all health and happiness during these continued turbulent times.
